Endocrinology is the study of the glands and hormones of the body and their related disorders. A hormone is a chemical substance created in the body that regulates the activity of certain cells or organs. Disorders of the endocrine system include but are not limited to Diabetes Mellitus, thyroid disorders, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, lipid disorders, bone and mineral disorders, sex horomone disorders, and more.
Tri-County Endocrinology and Nuclear Medicine, P.C. was established in 1977 in Centerline, Michigan. In 1983, Tri-County Endocrinology moved to Warren, Michigan. On November 17th, 2008, the office relocated to it's current location in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Currently, our practice consists of 4 endocrinologists caring for children and adults age 5 and older. We have hospital affiliations with McLaren Macomb Regional Medical Center and Henry Ford Macomb and Troy Beaumont Hospital.
